Felicia M. Davis

Felicia M. Davis coordinates sustainability for Clark Atlanta University and is a member of the CAU Sustainability Council.

Davis supports the university's team approach to sustainability with a focus on campus-wide engagement.  An advocate for measurable reductions in greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency retrofits, green building, and an array of sustainable practices, she founded the HBCU Green Fund to help finance green projects at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

She is a member of the leadership team for the Science Education Resource Center InTeGrate Geoscience program, which advances interdisciplinary teaching about the earth for a sustainable future, and coleads the HBCU Geosciences Working Group.

Davis serves on the boards of the Georgia Coalition of Black Women and the National Coalition’s Black Women’s Roundtable; Green 2.0, an initiative dedicated to increasing racial diversity in environmental leadership; and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, an environmental advocacy organization with almost 7,000 members dedicated solely to protecting and restoring the Chattahoochee River Basin.

She began her environmental career working on air quality and climate justice as the Georgia Airkeeper director and subsequently served as the first director of Mothers & Others for Clean Air when it was housed within the Georgia Conservancy.  

She is an Environmental Leadership Program Senior Fellow, IGEL Fellow, and Center for Whole Communities Member.
