Your Child Is a Live-In Zen Master | Omega

It can be easier to live in a monastery meditating 24 hours a day than to practice mindful parenting, says Jon Kabat-Zinn.

In his talk at Lincoln Center, he offered support to fellow parents, encouraging us to think of our children as live-in Zen masters who will unfailingly push our buttons, giving us the opportunity to pull ourselves out of reactive habits and into a better place for the whole family.
