Omega to Host Eckhart Tolle
Tolle's Only East Coast Appearance This Year - SOLD OUT
RHINEBECK, NY - Omega Institute, the nation's most trusted source for wellness and personal growth, is proud to announce that after a two year absence from teaching, renowned author and spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle will make his only east coast appearance at the Beacon Theater in New York City, Friday evening October 19, and Saturday October 20, 2007. The theme, "A New Earth - Awakening to Your Life's Purpose," is based on the title of Tolle's most recent book. One of the most original and revered spiritual teachers of our time, Tolle inspired millions of people to discover the freedom and joy of a life lived "in the now" with his best-selling spiritual guide The Power of Now. In his latest book, A New Earth, Tolle shows us how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness; it is also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world.
"I believe that personal change is the foundation for cultural change. One's own happiness means very little if those around us are suffering and the world itself is out of balance," said Skip Backus, Omega Executive Director. "Omega shares Eckhart's vision and commitment to influencing a more sustainable global community that recognizes the interconnectedness of all," concluded Backus.
Eckhart's 2007 teaching tour includes stops in California and New York as well as various locations in Europe.
